Not Dead Yet.  

Our French Daze are over,  yes, the damned Covid pandemic wore us out.  Almost 20 years of trips to the lovely village of  Lignieres, Cher is over for good.  It just became too difficult to manage the kats, who we love passionately.  

So years have gone by and out of the blue we struck upon an idea...shall we sell the French house or how about giving it to the city?  That was mulled over for a day or two and then it struck us,  we wondered what would it be like for all concerned to GIVE it to our children?  Ash and Andy to be exact.  How would they take this?  A longish phone call later and the words were said.  It felt fine, like a load was taken off of us.  No more 11 hr rides in aircraft,  no more car rentals and dreary, difficult driving to Lignieres,  no more house surprises.  All of that and they get a new roof on it and the barn.
