Hello, it's been a while...

Better than ever after Sonic tweeked my settings from afar. Nice work Sonic Support. Well, so what has been happening about the Old Town? Some party has purchased the old Christ Scientist Church, a historic and very old clapboard building right on Main Street in downtown Suisun. They are going to make a Furneral Parlor of the old girl much to many neighbors chigrin, especially ours. It turns out that Funeral Parlors LOWER one's home values by upwards of 15% according to a real estate person of note. Why is my question? I mean, people die, these facilities deal with it...a business that needs doing place to place. In this case it backs right up to Old Town Suisun, an area chock full of century old houses, mostly well maintained. 15% is 15%, that's quite a hit for a single business to be responcible for I agree. Again, I ask why? Oh the traffic will be real, the limo parade on a Saturday will be exceptionally awful, Limos stopping to pick up folks and drop others off, no they have no parking lot. The local restaurants (many) take up a majority of the parking most days around noon and, of course in the evening, they won't like it at all for that impacts their business directly. "Oh Marsha, there's no place to park, lets go somewhere else" it's quite possible. Then there's the likelihood of cars parking where we residents park, a majority of homes herein do not have driveways or garages, therefore we park on the street with both our cars. If they people attending a funeral need parking 1 bock away they are going to take up whatever spaces there are, residents be damned. Extra deliveries too, day and night just add to the mix of traffic. Well, atleast it'll smell good most of the time with all those sweet smelling flowers. My eldest daughter is coming for a short vacation just for a visit. We're really excited. We, of course saw here last year but then was then and now is now. It'll be a ball! Take care, HNLute
