Mystery Product...A Three Month Wait +!!!

Nansulate is the name of the insulating nano technology paint product that we ordered from the Florida based company on March 22nd. Sent payment (credit card) which they soon negotiated (like cashing a check). Then heard nothing. Finally we got an email saying that they would get some of this amazing, near miraculous product...the clear coat for home application on/about 8 May. We waited somewhat impatiently. The 8th came and went and we heard nothing...they were supposed to email us with shipping details on this nearly 500 dollar order for 5 gallons of the stuff. The 11th came and went and I emailed them asking where the paint was. An answer came that it was due in soon and we would get a confirmation of the shipping when it shipped. Weeks went by, soon it was June and still nothing.
So does this product even EXIST? Why do they cash my check and send nothing? I'm getting suspicious by mid-June of a scam of some sort and we are quite involved now.
Another email fired off with a delayed response all too similar to the last exchange, we will notify you when it has been shipped. Yea gads, time for some consumer hotline I thinks. Maybe the Florida State Attorney General's office? Anyway we put our determined daughter Audrey to the task of calling them for an update and to see if real humans are actually answering the phones at Industrial Nanotech. She contacted them and the standard replay was repeated "we will be getting some soon and we will give you the shipping info via an email when it has/is being/will be shipped. So there is where we are at as of this date the 24th of June, 2009.

Well there you have the saga of the long missing paint. Maybe we will never get it, who knows...anyway it's worth knowing that consumer issues like these happen everyday and anyone can be victimized by unscrupulous purveyors of mystery goods or even those that DO exist in the real world. Life is good here in France.
