Writer's Block Personified

Can't write, can't think, can't put a sentence together. That's me up to just a few moments ago. How bloody boring. So much going on elsewhere on planet earth that I cannot utter a keystroke, ten days of bloody silence, ten whole days. Over now, all will be better. Sure.

The election crisis in Iran, a civil war brewing? Maybe, but probably not. Just my oppinion given the western news agencies typical angle of hoping for the immenent colapse of governments and general chaos ensuing so that they can have an audience for their Coca Cola ads. Far too simple isn't it? Follow the money...always, just follow the money. I was hoping for a peaceful, tranquil Middle East that could be enjoyed for itself, not it's politics, so much to see and experience. Oh well. Good luck to all involved and the media (so they can make their payroll).

Brocanting yesterday with The Browns, their daughter S and her boyfriend. Joked about going to 7, not a chance starting at 10:30. Had a wonderful picnit by a lake north of Chateaunuef Sur Cheralongside the Cher river. Beautiful and quiet. I did score some stuff I've been hunting for at the brocantes and cheap too! A heavy cleaver for breaking bones and parting chickens for stock etc. Anb all copper (not plated steel) confiture bowl about the right size and depth for the glass retort I'm using for the distillation process (works well by the way), a double burner hob with covers, used a little but in top shape and a well used single for the still (oops I said it!). 10 bucks (sorry Euros) for it all...not bad. We grew weary after number three and headed home after. Nice ride with Kelly at the helm as I was way to sleepy to drive any longer. The after lunch 2 o'clock kind of gotta-take-a-nap feeling that you HAVE to listen too. Home we both collapsed for 3 hrs and woke up just short of 8!

Watched a bit of the Guess-The-News in French then the Fete Du Summer 2009 on TF1 til midnight! Half a million people can't be wrong and it was a show! Chris Isaak, Seal, Beyonce in attendance and many others I knew little of but enjoyed emmensely.
