Speedtest

I'm slow.  Move slow, think slow, am slow.  Today is Tuesday, slow Tuesday.  Take cat Mucca on a leash outside onto the porch, he does not like a leash...he is slow.  I sit he strains to go somewhere, anywhere where there is no leash restraining him from his cat mind and it's wants.  I am slow.  I get up, he balks behind the iron planter stand, I talk soothingly to cat (I'm slow remember) he strains to walk behind it and tangle the drip hose in the leash.  I pull, he strains, I pull, he strains. He jumps up on the window ledge nearly toppling the planter. Cara stares at him through the window over Kelly's desk disaster.  I relent in my quest and Mucca returns inside to scratch himself and terrorize his mother 'til she growls and he slinks away to sit onto of a leaning pile of books and stare.

All's well in DSL Land as of YESTERDAY, when AT&T came to repair their drop line to the house box...noisy and intermittent DSL as well.  New wires down from the pole mounted box and l'viola! FIXED!  Left his tool bag here so I called Sonic (my ISP) to inform the central office that I have the gents tool case and contents awaiting.  Here's the new test results from http://speedtest.sonic.net/ookla/ .

Slow. Very slow.  No paper on Tuesdays.  Yep, that's the new way hereabouts.  The Daily Repulsive (Republik) decided as a cost saving measure or to confound everyone to eliminate the Tuesday edition.  Yes, we still pay the same amount only get 6/7ths the coverage.  It hardly matters as most of the content (ahem...) is from the AP wire and Faux News anyway, it is a Rite leaning paper.

My daughter dearest Ashley has married Andy, it was coming we knew but the timing was nearer than farther as we thought.  They make a great couple, both foodies, he gluten intolerant, she pickyas hell...makes a great match up.  Two Californians living in South Carolina.  Fabulous!  He a geek, she the so independent.  Great funny couple of he and she.  I love them both.

Some pictures for your entertainment:
